Weekly recap template (copy/paste)
If your week felt like a blur, this is a simple way to make it feel real. The goal isn’t perfection—just a short “what mattered” recap and a gentle thread to carry into next week. You can copy/paste the template below, or use our free weekly recap generator to make a shareable recap card (no signup).
1) Quick weekly recap template
Keep it short. Aim for 2–4 sentences for the recap, then 2 one-sentence prompts for next week.
What mattered this week: [2–4 sentences. Specific. Concrete. No hype.] A gentle thread for next week: 1) [One low-pressure question I can come back to.] 2) [One small thing that would make next week easier.]
2) If you’re not sure what to write first
Start with 3–10 bullets (tiny details welcome). Then compress them into the template above. Example bullets:
- Something I avoided (and why).
- One small win that I’d normally dismiss.
- One moment that felt lonely / heavy.
- One thing I did that made tomorrow easier.
3) Make it effortless (free generator)
If you want speed: paste your bullets into our free weekly recap generator. It creates a warm prompt you can run in ChatGPT/Claude, then lets you download a shareable recap card.
