About MalloPal and Mallo

MalloPal is the company behind Mallo—the AI companion app for iPhone that remembers you and checks in with you daily. Here’s why we exist and who we’re building for.

Why we built Mallo

A lot of people live alone, work remotely, or move to a new city—and miss the feeling of being remembered. Not in a big, dramatic way; in a small way: someone who notices how your week went, who doesn’t forget what you said, and who reaches out so you don’t always have to start the conversation. We built Mallo to be that kind of daily check-in companion: an AI that remembers you, reflects your week back in a weekly recap, and keeps the thread going over time. No therapy claims, no dating or roleplay—just a warm, grounded ritual that fits around real life.

Who we’re for

Mallo is for adults (roughly 25–40, though we don’t gate by age) who want a companion app that gets deeper each week—not a one-off chatbot or a productivity tool. If you’re living alone, in a new city, or working from home and want something that remembers what you share and checks in on you proactively, Mallo is designed for you. We’re not replacing friends, family, or professional support; we’re offering a small, consistent ritual that makes it easier to feel a little less alone.

What Mallo is not

Mallo is not a mental health app, therapy, or crisis support. We don’t make clinical or medical claims. We’re not a dating or roleplay app. We’re a companion that remembers you and checks in—and we’re clear about that in the app and on our Privacy and Terms pages. If you’re in crisis, we encourage you to contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
